Ventura Ranks as One of the Best Places for Business

The great weather, the small town atmosphere and the wonderful people must have influenced Forbes Magazine, because they have rated Ventura, California as one of the best places in California to launch a business. Ventura ranked 68 in the list. Marina del Rey was #4, American Canyon #11, Novato #16, Carlsbad # 32 and San Jose #66. Forbes looked at areas in respect to economic climate, lifestyle, and amenities such as museums, schools and other items to determine what would create a healthy climate for business.

For more information, the selections appeared in the April 2009 issues of Forbes (Small Business).

Top 3 cities include Bellevue, WA at number one; Georgetown, TX at number two; and Buford, GA, at number three.
